http://pear.php.net/package/Text_Diff could be used, it's under LGPL.

I think this is not a high priority requirement for Flyspray at the moment.

There are some existing applications on this area, that better fit cooperating software development.
Flyspray currently cannot compete in this area.

But if someone is willing to do the effort and help to add it to Flyspray, why not! :-)

As I see, there where some tasks in this bugtracker, which claims to have several software development tools now implemented and are closed now. We have to look where this "implemented" features are gone.
