FS#1848 - password field
Hello,
Before submitting this issue I checked the closed tasks and found something similar. ( FS#1578 )
I was surprised to see that a password field was plain text. I agree that as an admin you might need to see what you have entered. Could a 'Show Password' feature be added?
May I suggest that it be a password field as expected and that just next to it have a 'Show Password' link that will reveal the password?
I'm perhaps being a little too concerned about security and people watching over my
shoulder. However it might be a cool little feature to add.
I am delighted with flyspray and think its a great product.

hi Stephen, Could you confirm that you are only seeing an unmasked password during the installation process?

Hi,
The unmasked password is within the Admin toolbox - email notifications section. The SMTP Password field is plain text.

ok thanks... two bugs then one for the isntaller and one for the admin toolbox.
Fixed in version 1.0 'Show password' check box displayed below password field, and password fields set to be masked by default.
